Next Saturday is the 300km AUDAX ride and a ride that could qualify a number of riders for PBP and Super Randonneur Status in Singapore! Check your current status here SR Status as of April 24, 2015 The ride will follow the Patrick Williams Way which includes more enjoyable KMs on nice roads and less highway KMs. In addition, by the time you hit the border on the way back you will clock just over 300km! This is an official PBP qualifier ride and many are very close to being qualified. PBP Registration opens up for most on May 31, 2015 and more than 50% of the spaces have already been snapped up by pre-qualified riders.

Exciting and challenging series of AUDAX rides this weekend. There were 300km, 400km and 600km brevets to help get some final qualifiers for PBP over the line. The ride path was the standard Patrick Williams 300km for most with the balance to be made up in Singapore within the allowed time limits.
Just to wrap up the final notes for the rides this weekend. The rides are 300km, 400km and 600km and are designed to help people qualify for PBP if they like or to just ride. The ride will start at the usual spot and all the rides will follow the Patrick Williams 300km route with the balances being finished in Singapore. Despite the lure of spending some more quality time at the Hotel Super Cowboy it is not feasible given the logistics that are required and lack of bandwidth. There are a number of people signed up for the 600km so we can discuss on that morning what we will do regarding food/sleep/fun etc. Many people are one ride away from becoming a Super Randonneur….remember that longer distances can qualify for missing shorter ones (ie. you can replace a 200km with a 300km and get a bonus 100km of riding).
